SAVING ENERGY

The crisis of energy is happened in Indonesia at the moment. Electrical energy is one of the energy which is used very much. Unfortunately, most of electrical energy in Indonesia is still resulted from sources of non-renewable energy. So, it can make more crisis of energy in Indonesia. From that condition, evidently there are still many people who wasteful of energy, especially the electrical energy.

I always see house lights turn on when I go to the campus. Whereas the sun has appeared and the street has been light. As well in the public place, for example : school and mosque. I often see lights on in the daytime. Moreover there are many electrical equipment which are turned on but it isn’t be used. For example there is television on but it is not be seen.

I have got information from PLN that many people underestimate the problem. They assume the power of lights is little. They often turn on television, light event it is not important. That is caused they do not understand. Whereas if it is calculated, it harm for Indonesia very much. We can think what if the most people of Indonesia do it.

 Therefore I intend to remind everyone to give more attention about this problem. And I also ask to all my friends which have known it to notify everyone. So we can save our energy together. Saving energy also can be done by find the source of alternative energy, but we need to save energy too. If it runs out of energy sources, the future generation will be difficult to satisfy their needs. Saving energy means we care with our children and grandchildren.
